edit: ok.. deleted that i give up from this journal entry.. i'm super upset.. very very very... upset. but.. i can either quit.. or keep it moving. so.. i guess for now i'll keep going.
166.9 lb Lost so far: 29.9 lb.    Still to go: 3.9 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

I've really only ever read one book of philosophy ever. It is the Tao of Pooh. I recommend it! Or, you could just read Winnie the Pooh. I think Pooh really is a Taoist. Anyway, what I learned from Winnie the Pooh and the guy who thought Pooh was Tao is that feeling anxious or worried or upset won't change the situation that you're feeling anxious about. Well, I guess in this case, I think the anxiety you're feeling is the situation you're in. Let it go. It's not going to fix anything. Feel better soon!

i hate it that i KNOW this its just making it worse and harder for me... i'm not sure WHY i can't just relax and let it happen.. maybe i need a xanax lol

Maybe some meditation? I am beautiful and strong and yada, yada, yada. Never worked for me, but I know it works for others! Then again, so does Xanax!

Yes, try some yoga :) Or (now this is going to seem totally crazy!) take a week off! You are stressing big time. Maybe take some time to not think about the scale. Take a break from working out and calorie counting. Don't go crazy, but just try to relax. Something needs to give, you have yourself all stressed and wound up about this and you are right it is not helping. Stress will totally screw with your weight. You are SO close to your goal. And everyone says the last 10 pounds are the hardest. But no matter what, you look great NOW! Didn't you just say earlier this week that someone told you you look thinner every day? Tell that scale to go ef itself. Maybe throw it out the window ;) It isn't doing you any good to get angry at it. Take a break. Be kind to yourself. You have done super awesome. Bumps in the road are inevitable. You have to learn to go with the flow :)

ur right lol.. i guess i've just never been THIS close to being exactly where i've always wanted..i've been overweight my WHOOOOOOOLE life... so i guess i'm taking this to a bad level.. either way i've gone from hating P.E. classes and exercise to craving it daily! and jogging a mile or more without stopping... looking better than i have in over ten years!.. i have to make a poster and post my before and afters so i can have reminders everyday.. FS is my xanax lol

Yes DO that!! And make a list of all the improvements you've made to your lifestyle and things you can do now you couldn't do before :) There's so much more to it than just weight! You ARE doing the right stuff. Trust yourself!

Hey you chose to keep going and that in itself is great. It's harder to keep going than to give up so you already made a huge life change. Great job and I hope you feel better soon and not so down about the weight. We know you can get there and so do you

@skinny.. thank you.. i'm not as sad as i was this morning lol...@ shae...all of you guys have encouraged me and i hope i can do even just a little to encourage.. especially on the days when i'm really not feeling up to it.. its a reminder to me of how far i've come!!

Naiomy...I'm sorry you're hitting a wall. I've hit many on my journey but we all know they're temporary. Hang in there and be kind-er to yourself. Definitely give yourself the credit you deserve. You look amazing and have come such a long way! We're here for you:) HUGS!!!
