John10251's Journal, 22 April 2018

I'm back from a historic vacation at Colonial Williamsburg. While there I ate unrestricted and didn't meet my normal activity goals most days. I did try to log my food intake as accurately as possible. Most days I ate "Poorly." I did gain some weight and my percentage of body fat did go up. Fortunately, I still had some waist room in my slacks this morning so no worries...

Don't doubt you'll get it back on track and the loss within days.

Nice place to visit, my family and I went last week of july (don't ever take a trip there at this time of the year) and my daughter brought her friend on the trip. It literally was 101 degrees everyday/ridiculous humidity ......it was miserable----I thought I had died and went to the bad place (haha) -----Easy to eat well there, the tavern on on the corner of the street, pancake houses, and virginia beach boardwalk further down the road.... Yep, made me fat and miserable too. Well I hope your trip was a good one, don't beat yourself up, just get back on track and keep movin' !!!!

Thanks HCB, Draglist, ClassicRocker and Wright2018!!! The rest has done my body some good. I feel fully recovered from previous gym workouts. Virginia is very humid in the summer especially in the Tidewater area. It was actually a little cooler last week than we prefer. Yes, there are plenty of restaurants as is the case with most tourist destinations. We ate in most meals but we did eat at a couple of very nice places. I woke up this morning excited about getting back on plan...
