day 5 of 21 of FREE 21 DAYS OF MEDITATION with operah and deepak...

45..goooood friday mornin..3am..woke up early..guess i got enough sleep..ended up taking off yesterday an just resting ..no riding on trainer..although i did think about it..did go in and clean the chain on bike and oil it up for todays use..

the plan today is to get a ride in..would like to do a 25-30 mile ride..behind on miles this week..just trying to get back on track..might be less miles this week..

ordered some hammer gel yesterday..to use on my longer..25 or more mile rides..trying to find a balance between carbs and sugar..and still keep carbs under 30 or so..but some days thats hard to do..the gel pack is 22 carbs..3 sugar..then with protein shakes..add more sugar an carbs..best thing about it all..doing the rides..burns off the carbs an sugar more rapidly..so it doesnt have time to stay in body that long..or thats what im thinking..

been meditating when i first get up..seems to be working better for me..my most quiet time of the day..no phone calls..no distractions..

well..need to get up an moving once again..want to be on bike/trainer by 430am..get my ride in...my friend mike is coming over at 630aam..to get his ride in...riding thru the winter months is gonna show once we start riding outside im sure..will be stronger rides..faster pace and yet wont really feel like it..cant wait..

I get up outta bed...do what I need to do...get green tea perkin...and put headphones in and meditate...then I'm on bike/trainer by 430am...best time to do it...for me..
