Greetings my Fabulous Followers!

I cannot believe I have not posted in a whole week! I am having a very hard time this Fall with the seasonal change. I will be teaching a little more and traveling Sept, Oct, Nov and Dec. I am eating my stress!

I hate when this happens to me - it is rare for me - but it happens when I am overwhelmed. Some of my written goals are not going to happen - I will have to modify expectations. That is also rare for me. I want to find new motivation from somewhere...

The extra things I am doing are wonderful opportunities and very rewarding; so those will not change - i want to better manage my emotional eating.

THANK GOODNESS, I get to the gym four to five times a week!

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - Tom Venuto

Short Range Goals:
* Macros 60%-70% fat, 20-30% protein, 10% carbs - better under 10%!
* Back in the "Blue" on Idiot Boxes while retaining muscle by year end 2017
* Bodyfat % reading with trainer in early November
* Drink at least 12 - 16 cups of fresh water daily - especially on gym days
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting four to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload

Long Range Goals: 2017-2018
*Bodyfat at 24% or less (Current 29.5%) by year end 2017
*Long range body fat goal is 20% - which at my age is great!
*Maintain Idiot Boxes around 156-158lbs staying under goal weight by June 2018
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workouts

HCB - you will always be an inspiration to me. Your path has been long and varied, you will get back on track. I have to remind myself that this is my new way of living, it is a journey with twists and turns, ups and downs. I, too, have struggled with motivation over the past 6 weeks. My friend and I were speaking just this morning of how easy it is to lose our good habits when things get busy or when we are overwhelmed. My newest goal is to find balance so that I can be successful in more than one single aspect of my life. Good luck to you as you move forward! And downward!

Hang in there! This time of year can be the hardest on diets, with Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas in a row. Plus co-workers bringing goodies to work - I'm working on my attitude with that one. Btw, the gym is a great stress reliever! My favorite workout t-shirt says "Exercise is cheaper than Therapy" - so true!
