crstlgls's Journal, 22 July 2017

I seem to be gaining 0.8 pounds a day on 1700-1800 calories, so i changed my RDI to keep me in the 1600-1700 calorie range. Let's see if i re-lose what i gained. I still am having gas pains from poor fat digestion, so this could be part of it. I might have to go, too; hopefully that will happen today.

I'll try to introduce dairy later, after my fat digestion normalizes.

I was surprised at how high my initial RDI was as usually I try to stay around 1500 cal max for weight loss and it was giving me 2600! I went down to 1800 too so now that I am actually counting EVERY single bite, lol, anxious to see what the 1st week will bring! {It may be the coconut oil...high saturated fat hurts tummies ;)} Best Wishes!!!

Franz of Forefront Health said my gas is due to poor fat digestion. The Creator, Tom, said it will go away with time. So I will have to try lowering my fat a little temporarily to see what happens. I am also lactose intolerant, so this is why I am using lactose-free dairy for now. I don't want to overgas myself to a point that I can't deal with it. Eventually, when my fat digestion improves, I will address the lactose intolerance, but for now I use lactose free dairy and lactase supplements when I need them.
