57 days to go
18.3 lbs to go
Down 2.8 lbs 🎉🎉🎉
Woohoo! Lost most of the weight I put on from carbs, although I did a 24 hr fast til dinner last night, so I won't be surprised if a bit of it goes back on

I have bought a pack of Diet Coke fir the 800 miles I have to drive today and tomorrow and 20 small bottles water

Gonna try to take meds and drive without CHO and see how I get on

Really excited seeing my daughter so excited.. Leeds uni today and Warwick university tomorrow.. both about 200 miles from home

Temp set to drop by 10 degrees when it rains today.. hope the thunderstorms aren't too bad when I'm driving

Will try to stay on track, but no idea if appropriate food will be available at the uni and too hot and too far to take a mini coolbag, except for drinks, tho at least I did consider that !

Finished my tea on the patio, the kitten has gone back inside as it's still too warm 😂., it's 5am , gotta be in Leeds at 9 so time to go and see what today brings

Have a great Thursday my fs friends 😎😎

Are you attending graduations?
23 Jun 17 by member: erikahollister
Thanks dragslist Erikahollister.. I wish😉 Graduations are a lot of time and money away No, we are visiting universities so my 17 year old can choose which universities to apply to in the autumn. She wants to work in counterterrorism, so is going to read German and international relations. But she has just completed Japanese gcse. So is looking for a uni where she can further her Japanese ( it is a hobby, they don't offer it in her current school) and add other languages.. mandarin/Spanish/Russian etc. It's very interesting, but a lot of miles and effort . She makes me very proud and is great company on our trips ❤️

Nice! Thanks for sharing. I have a daughter who went that route; studied Arabic; worked in Africa; got an MA in International relations, then ended up deciding that we have so many problems here that she should be working stateside. She's now working in Juvenile Justice reform - policy and legislative reform. She's almost 32 now. Also, I'm so proud of her too! Her team advised on an overhaul of the Juvenile system in Utah and now they've been invited to do the same in Alabama.

And, yes, she has a lot of student loans that she's paying off!

It's good to see the younger generation facing some of the world's problems. Sad to hand of such a basketful of problems, but it's their future and they're taking it on.
