Happy New Week, My Fabulous Followers!

Slowly but surely I seem to be getting my nutrition plan a little better in the Zone...(not the Zone Diet, LOL) I absolutely know what to do but have not been disciplined or motivated as much as usual.

My exercise is consistent, though. I like my workouts and keep going for heavier weights each time. My favorite trainer whispered in my ear during class that he sees my behavior inspiring other women (and some men) to try heavier weights more often!

I think that is so cool...especially since I am 25 years older than many of the other people in my classes! Wooo-Hooo

Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle - Tom Venuto

Short Range Goals:
* Macros 60%-70% fat, 20-30% protein, 10% carbs - better under 10%!
* Back in the "Blue" on Idiot Boxes while retaining muscle - July/Aug?
* Bodyfat % reading with trainer for June 23
* Drink at least 12 - 16 cups of fresh water daily - especially on gym days
* Continue HIIT mixed in with weight lifting four to five days a week
* Keep up the training notebook to achieve progressive overload

Long Range Goals: 2017
*Bodyfat at 22% or less (Current 24.5%) by year end 2017
*Maintain Idiot Boxes around 152-158lbs staying under goal weight
*Increased strength, endurance and flexibility during workouts

Strokes like that are HUGE motivation! You GO girl! I got in the neighbors' pool for the first time and did a "weight" workout with empty gallon jugs, pulling them under the water. My arms are so wobbly right now, I can hardly type! :D

I to have had trouble with motivation and developing my routine since I came to day shift and no longer working graveyard.. Discipline Motivation EAT WORKOUT SEX WEIGHTS PROTEIN SHAKES

Oh yeah get it!!! I need to get some lifting in to bump up my HGH levels and strip off some of this fat off my body.

So true, Ches! I always do better when I do strength training coupled with sprints on the rower or elliptical.
