poppycom's Journal, 26 November 2016

Good morning my fs friends.
So I got through my spinal procedure , anaesthetic and hospital food. Only another 3 procedures to go.

Home now, but have to fill my new kitchen cupboards

Decorators here for 2 days from Monday, then another 2 days for a new floor and electricians

I'm hobbling , so I'm just gonna keep as active as I can

Gonna have a nice shower, then do a big healthy supermarket online shop for tomorrow, suitable for low carb low cal diet and stick to it strictly from Monday. But I've made reasonably healthy choices while I've been incapacitated and didn't go off the rails🎉🎉

Feeling positive

Wishing you all a happy and healthy weekend x

Glad you are keeping positive. New kitchen is a traumatic experience, from my experience.

So pleased for you that things went well. I agree with Jocko - new kitchens are traumatic but wonderful once they're completed. Take care

Glad you're out of hospital now, Poppy. Look after yourself and don't do too much.

giannis.. i had steroids injected into my spine to reduce inflammation.. i have a condition called dural ectasia.. the membrane around my spine is swollen.. aswell as arthritis and degeneration ( i am 45 and overweight) in the facet joints surrounding my spine.. hopefully this will decrease my pain and i can be more active, but initially it lead to a cellulits infection and hospital readmission
