wallisrox's Journal, 29 July 2016

So for the past 4 months I have been on a lifestyle renegade. In March I made a startling revelation that I NEEDED to change because I was unhappy with my lifestyle. So by April I had kicked fast food, and by May I was cooking meals packed with veggies and lean meats. Since then I have lost 20 lbs! Woot woot. However, I want to kick up the weight loss. Nothing crazy, just 2-3 lbs a week. My question for all of my Fatsecret peeps, what does your carb intake look like? I want to get inbetween 75-100. Do you have any tips or suggestions?
Thank you in advance!

a steady 10lbs of weight loss /month would be healthy more than that may be excessive. for me , my carbs are maybe 5 or 10. i'm comfortable with that. but i really don't have any health problems and moniter my labs on a regular basis. and certainly not in childbaring age. so what works for me , may not be right for someone else.

My carb intake averages between 80-100/daily (semi-vegetarian) and I am losing pretty steadily. So, what's your exercise regimen like?

I work out 5 days a week, 30 mins HIIT , and 30 mins dancing/yoga/or jogging. I'm pretty active throughout the day, and I spend 4 hours of my day on my feet at work. So all in all I'm pretty active.

I think you would do ok in the range of 75-100. That should bump things up. Try that for a couple of weeks and then reassess. I love my veggies, so I am not going for the extreme low carb thing.
