I lost .2 lb in the last two weeks (no kidding), but I have ranged from 159 to 163 lb to end up at 160.6 lb this morning buck naked after 8 hours of sleep and no food in that time period. Although I still wake up with blood sugars between 75 and 138, I am still not satisfied. I am CHANGING MY FINAL WEIGHT GOAL to 150 lbs (I am a 5 foot seven inch tall male and 69 years old) despite the negative advice of all my family members (all of whom are either obese or morbidly obese). They are all naysayers and pessimists mixed with a little bit (maybe a lot actually) of jealousy and negative thinking. But my glass is half full, not half empty. My real goal is to LOSE DIABETES FOREVER, so that I can write a HOT BEST-SELLING BOOK ABOUT HOW I DID IT WITH THE HELP OF BARIATRIC SURGERY AND RAW WILLPOWER. Nothing less than that is acceptable.

Is that such an impossible goal? I think not. I think (no--I know) I can do it. That I can tell you!
160.6 lb Lost so far: 65.4 lb.    Still to go: 15.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
