My granddaughter's 17th birthday today. I ate the most tiny sliver (1 oz maybe) of chocolate cake with boiled frosting. Calories are in line but net carbs over 40. Hope this doesn't affect my weekly weigh-in tomorrow as my weight has been down all week and my limit is 30 net carbs this week. That little taste of sweetness did awaken cravings and a sense that I wasn't really satisfied and felt hungry after supper. Really brings home the reality that these foods are poison to keeping a reasonable body weight going forward. Even if my weight is thrown off a little tomorrow(hope it isn't)I know that it will right itself as I am following the program pretty closely.
