Monday - the day I had hoped for salvation from this tooth, and not so much. Well, that's not true. If I had $500-$800 funds available, they could take care of it this week. HA! I actually don't but found it a great time to find a dentist within my insurance network. Mine is not. Seems everytime I visit them, they find something in addition to what I went in there for...today they found a cavity behind the cracked tooth. They said the cracked tooth used to have a filling in it, they could dig the old filling out and grind it down to reshape it, and by that time, there would be really nothing left of the tooth, so they want to crown it. Which means $$$. Sooooooooo.....for now, it appears July is soft food and smoothies month. Which could transpire into weight loss month.

Went to the grocery to restock on yogurt...added platains (never used them -- suggestions would be awesome), kiwis, strawberries, more bananas, some Fiber one cereal, and some power mix of greens. Got pineapple juice, and some unsweetened almond/coconut milk too with some plain greek yogurt. Prepare yourselfs for interesting smoothies month, starting with lunch today.

Seriously kind of bummed....but will need to get it repaired by August. Makes eating a bit thought provoking. Thank goodness for watermelon and fresh peaches. They make good blending fruits!

Our county here offers dentist for low income people but they really dont ever check and i used them once when i couldnt afford my dentist a few years ago for a cracked tooth. Maybe your city/county health department has reduced fee clinic?? I paid 75.00 to have 3 teeth pulled.I had to do the rest at my real dentist but it stopped the immediate pain . Still cheaper than my dentist. Hope you feel better.

Yikes! I had a dentist like that a while back, it seemed like every time I went in something else was wrong or they needed to fix something they did before. I went to a new dentist after a couple of times of that and amazingly haven't had a problem since. Good luck with your soft diet! I hope you get that tooth fixed soon!
