Trying slowly to get back on track. Watching my eating and started working out again. I have lost 3 pounds since my weigh-in on Sunday, so that's something. I just have no energy. I have to force myself through the day and by the time I get home...well, I feel like I've been awake for 24 hours straight. I can't understand what happened. It's been a year and a half since my surgery, and I still can't find the get up and go I had a before. But I'm trying!
Anyway, breakfast this morning was a boiled egg and part of a tropical smoothie. Lunch was reduced sodium deli chicken and Swiss on whole wheat bread with strawberries, radishes, a nectarine and a fiber one oatmeal raisin cookie. Afternoon snack was Cheetos (small portion). Dinner was 2 slices of small papa john's pizza and bbq wings. Oh, and a brownie, but I picked the smallest one! Lol anyway, I figured it was okay since I did good the rest of the day. :) plus, I will be on the treadmill again tonight so it's okay :)
Anyway, trying to overcome the lack of energy and exercise anyway. Hopefully the exercise will encourage increased energy and I'll be back to my old self in no time!! Hope everyone has a great day!

You need HIIT workouts, water, water, water, water and a 45%carb./35%protein/ 20% fat diet..

You might want to try not to mix your cooked foods with your fresh fruit. I believe fresh ripe fruit is the best nutrition for my body, so that is all I have til at least lunch time. Also fruits are digested much faster than any cooked food. By mixing them you put a strain on your digestive system.....which in turn could explain your tiredness. :)

I'm with you on struggling to get my get up and go back, but I didn't have surgery, I think mine is just wanting to be lazy. Slowly with spring getting closer I'm feeling it coming back, so hopefully that will be the case for you too. Keep getting on that treadmill and you will feel great!

Just make yourself exercise everyday you can and eventually you will get through it. The extra weight and adapting to workouts again is probably making your body feel worn down quicker. Just keep pushing! Also keep hydrated with water. Always makes a huge difference to me

Exercise is good but not as important as what you are putting in your body. Even if you can't or don't feel like exercising. MOVE! go for a 1/2 walk every other day. But concentrate and track your nutritional intake. YOU WILL SEE RESULTS. GUARANTEED!!!
