I went out to get a few things to help this journey even more. I got a new digital scale because I didn't trust my old one and it was hard to read. I got a new yoga mat because my old one was beat up from the kids using it. I got a step counter so that even without being able to take the dog for a walk I can keep up with my challenge. And I got a 2 lbs weighted exercise ball because they make working out easy hard; if you know what I mean. I've tried everything out and am super happy and excited to use them.

Also, thanks to the new scale I weighted in today and found I've lost 3 more pounds. That makes 5 lbs in less than 2 weeks. If I keep this up I might get to wear a bikini this summer. That would be the first time since I was a teen.

And last but not least; I've drank nothing but water today. No tea, no coffee, only water. This is the first time I think ever that I've drank nothing but water. It is most definitely the first time I've don't it with out having to fight myself. Now that my taste buds have adjusted to the lack of sugar water actually taste better, go figure.

No doubt about things tasting better. I'm waiting for that time when I can start to taste the hidden sugars in foods. I know it will come I just don't know when.

Good job actually using your new tools. For a couple months I used peanut butter jars as hand weights. I didn't trust that I'd get my money's worth if I bought real ones because in the past I've made purchases that just collected dust. :) So get your money's worth!

Woperchild, I only bought things I knew I would use. I've been doing yoga and pilates for about a week now and knew I wanted to keep doing them. The ball is something I've had before that I loved. The only really new thing to me is the step counter, but that is so easy to use there is no excuse not to. I plan on putting it on my bed side table so I can put it on as soon as I'm out of bed. Thanks for the support.

Always good to get the tools we need to assist us. In my opinion, a good scale is a necessity. Congrats on the water AND on your continuing weight loss...Keep it up, Buddy, U R doing great. :)

Awesome commitment. I am still working on the no coffee or tea. Unfortunately I think its going to be awhile for that one lol. I do a short yoga asana every day to relax and keep me limber, its an awesome way to stay flexible and de stress. You and I are in about the same place hopefully we both make it to bikinis this summer. I am planning on buying one this week in my goal size and hanging it in my bedroom as a reminder of what my goal is.

That is great! I love my water and do not miss soda ever. I do have one coffee in the morning. I am so happy for you because you are dedicated to change!

Good going! I find a step counter really helps me. It keeps me motivated to walk . I think I may buy a new scale. For some reason gadgets tend to help me.
