FullaBella's Journal, 18 December 2014

So who wants chocolate? Grandson just brought a box for a band fund raiser - 58 out of 60 still in it. Bought it all as I'm the good Nana. Now I've shut the box and put it behind me and will hopefully be able to forget it until I figure out a way to give it to people in the store; then forget it again at night.

Today has been not bad. Yesterday I ordered a Reuben from across the street - ate the whole thing (instead of half when I share w/a friend) plus their homemade potato chips, which, when they're deep fried like that .. it's really just crispy french fries. They're not fooling me.

Several days this week no amount of water or hot tea would appease my appetite; really hungry (grumbling stomach, weak, hungry feeling) even when I had high protein (tuna) and fat (mayo) so weird. I would love for TODAY to be the day my mojo returns. Whoever has it, would you please let me have it back, if only for a month or so until I can do this independently for a while?

And that's really about all. Other than, saw this.. loved it. Sharing.

Bells

Love the picture! Good luck with the candy bars. Being a good NaNa has its pitfalls!

Hilarious picture! You could always give the candy to the grandson who sold it to you.

That's MY letter to Santa! How'd you get a hold of it???? hehehe. Have you had a blood test recently? Maybe you are missing some nutrients - like when I was so deficient in D last winter and couldn't stop eating.... Just a thought. Hugzz

What a great Nana you are! Can you donate them somewhere, even to a firehall? Great picture!

Food, food, food, and more food. Sweet, Salty, Fried, Cured, blah blah blah. I look at my weight at the top of the page and mentally kick myself in the ass but I can't stop. Like Instantcrazy, I'm wishing the holidays were over. MOJO MOJO MOJO MOJO MOJO....Bells, when you find it, would you share please?

Can I have some please? But only if it is really dark choc. They keep on handing boxes of the milky stuff around in the office which I do not like. I think by being a Bahumbug I have managed to stay away from all the foods that seem to go with it. I had half of a very very ripe melon for breakfast and I am still stuffed. I have been eating fruit for breakfast for so long now that I do not want anything else. If I do eat something different I do not feel right. Shame I can't see the picture. Working from a secure network which doesn't allow it. I shall have another peek when I go home. :)

I can't access photos from work either, lucky this site isn't blocked. Bella, love the photo. I'm lucky no chocolate around me right now. I do have some beer in the house though, not good for me. Mmmmm a Rueben sounds yummy. Can't eat the corned beef anymore though due to the nitrates etc. they add. Maybe the new natural food store will have some around St Patrick's day without the chemicals.

Fundraisers that sell chocolate and other goodies are tough, you're a good NaNa for supporting it. If it were me there'd be a lot more than 2 pieces gone from the box.

I do want to clarify *I* did NOT eat the 2 out of 60 - I think 'he' did ... so .. so far so good (on me not eating them) - and in retrospect I *could* have just given him the $60 for band and let him keep the box of candy but I know that kid and imagined him reselling them & keeping the cash for himself which would have been ambitious but ... wrong. I'll be gifting chocolate faster than 'feed the children' today.

LOL. Have to share that photo.

Just a thought: A BIG sign in your storefront window 'Help this owner out. Come in and have a free chocolate!' Could be good for business, it'll at least get your store noticed.

Good suggestions - I have managed to gift about 1/3 of it so far... slugging water & chewing gum - actually forgot about it until I checked in here... off to distract myself some more, LOL

Get rid of them asap. They are preparing pain in your future. (not to mention your present by having them on your mind)

Another couple of dozen gone - probably about 2dz left... I may just walk down the street passing them out today to people on the sidewalk or in stores... that'd be fun.

For sure, wear a Santa Hat, give a business card. Mix fun with business.

I have zero willpower right now. Hand over the chocolate, Lady! Absolutely love the pic too! I'm still giggling. That burns calories, right?

I know what you mean about about that crazy hunger . Doing battle with that here. 56 bars of chocolate in the house is just a bad idea.... One weak woman's opinion.
