I actually don't try at all anymore and it keeps dropping. I just eat healthy portions and avoid almost all processed foods. Eating to me is meats, fruits and vegetables 90 percent of the time. I don't eat much grains overall. Plus I still drink a good size cup of coffee with milk and sugar everyday and I still have dessert here and there. I stay busy since I can't manage to fit time to exercise in with homeschooling

Also always make sure to keep meat portions proper sized. 6 ounces of meat at a meal is about average for me

6 ounces? so if it was steak, you would have 6 ounces at one sitting during the day.. making it 427 calories? I've been doing alot of reading on proper foods.

I would considering almost all of my meat intake is usually chicken so it wouldn't make a dent in my calories over a span of time. Sometimes we have deer meet or ground turkey in meals. We just found a place to buy grass fed only and hormone/antibiotic free ground beef for 5.00 a pound so we bought 20 pounds which will last us a while.

Eating is a math game. How can you get the most quality and quantity for the least amount of calories. I would say over the span of a day on average almost 75 percent of my plate is always vegetables or a bit of fruit.
