I'm heartbroken, it's so hard to lose this weight I'm so close to starving myself except I know my body will probably take the piss and retain the weight, does anyone know what to do, I'm on 1000 calories a day at the most, I work out as well and still nothing, I went down 1kg only to get back up, now I think about it I think the scale was messed up that day. I don't know what to do, I'm really hating the way I look and feel, and I'm tired of been described as the fat one. Any tips on how to lose this weight will be greatly appreciated, good luck to you all.

Hello, I know how you feel, I have been there too. I peeked at you food journal to see if I could help, but I noticed you are not recording everything. I cant keep on track unless I write it down, it really works for me. Sometimes I am amazed at how many calories or carbs things have. I eat a low carb high fat diet. Never ate like this before nor have I been hungry since I started in May. Read and research ( www.dietdoctor.com) is full of info. Sending you big hugs and loads of determination :-) you can do it!!! :-)

Maybe you are not eating enough and your body is holding on to everything it can. It is usually recommended not to go below 1200 average for the day.

You might want to try and focus on fat loss and not just weight loss. Fat loss makes you leaner and smaller in sizes, where weight just makes you a smaller version of what you are now. Some great magazines with info on fat loss and changing your body's composition are Oxygen Magazine and Muscle and Fitness Hers. There are others too. Protein, lean dairy and fruits and vegetables help with fat loss. Sometimes it's about WHAT you are eating and not just how much. A combo of cardio and strength training can also help. If you haven't already, you might want to get tested for thyroid (anything that can inhibit weight loss). If you can afford it, a personal trainer who can give you a workout plan might also help. There is no easy answer. You have to keep trying till you reach your goals. Stay consistent! Stay hydrated! Read up on power foods that might help you lose. I feel for you, this is not an easy journey.
