Another drop, and the clothes are getting loose, so the losses are starting to "show". Best diet tip: Not being able to grocery shop for 7 weeks. The local grocery store is closed for a ownership change and without a car... So I am using up whatever I have in the pantry... So no dissing the food log, I ain't got no choice :-) Luckily there is a soup kitchen within walking distance and they usually have bread to take as well. I may have to break down at some point and bike the extra distance to the more expensive grocery store, but in the mean time I am learning to eat what I have not what I want. I keep telling myself this is a good lesson in what it feels like to have no choice.

I like your logic. I would be whining I am sure but you are just being practical and dealing with it! Always feels nice to have the clothes fit looser. Way to go.

Great Job!!!!!!!!!!!!Yahoo!!!! You are now in the 130's!!!!!!! That super. I do have sympathy with your transportation situation, Many years ago I did not have a car in my late teens /early 20's-That was very tough in the state like Florida that has very limited public transportation coming from a city like Pittsburgh that has a major busing system- I tell you a story I can laugh at now that was not funny at the time- I used to leave on the beach years ago (Funny thing is I was poor when I lived on the beach and have alot more money now that I am in the city) but anyway, did not have a car, got done walking the rent down to the landlord and walking laundry back and forth and got hungry walk down to a mom and pop store for a snack, I was so tired, I most collapse on the toll bridge right before it opened- I can laugh about this stuff now, I don't know how I did it back then. But anyway congrats on the weight loss and be very careful with the food supply until you can get to the store

Congratulations on the drop! I haven't been to the local Kroger in a month as I try to draw down my pantry which filled up thanks to over-buying.

Chris you are doing great, really like your logic I live several miles out from town so don't get to shops that often and it is fun sometimes be creative with what you have left in the pantry, keep dropping the weight

When my kids would visit while they were in college they used to call it "shopping in Mom's pantry". I never knew what I had in the house to fix a meal. These days if I want to splurge on something (like my new exercise bike) I'll try to use up whatever is in the pantry and freezer instead of grocery shopping and use the grocery money for the splurge. I know you're not doing it by choice, but you really have a good attitude about it!

Well pwrestlephoto, I kinda liked the 130 better, lol. I'll just pretend for now! You've had some tough times, so you understand. The good thing about not having a car is it forces me to walk! Thanks for all the kind words and support everyone! To tell the truth, I was feeling a bit sorry for myself, but your support has cheered me right up. Shows what a little support can do for your mood. It sure is good to come on here and have all you wonderful buddies!

Awesome weight loss! Good for you in eating what you have, until your grocery store reopens. I am doing the same thing here, but only because I don't know when I will go to the grocery store again. When I run out of something, I have to think what can I have instead? It's a game for me. I usually win. ;)
