Stressed!

Stress makes me want to eat. I am currently picturing myself eating something very bad for me like Cold Stone's Banana Caramel Crunch - LOVE IT SIZE. ::Sighs:: Why can't I learn better coping mechanisms?

Well, instead of going out there to buy food, I went to home depot and purchased purple paint samples. My 4-year-old neice is moving in with us in September and I'm very excited about it. I have a lot of small projects planned. So, maybe that will keep me away from food.

BUT ... I forgot to mention that I stopped for a Frosty Shake before I went into the home depot. ::guilty blush::

Well, I hope I can forget all that's on my mind right now by painting. I need to buy a scale and prominently display it on my wall so I won't forget that I'm not supposed to eat. Maybe I'll hire someone to hit me over the head with it every time I gain a pound. I need to stop thinking. ::shrugging shoulders::

Until next time folks.

Wish me luck on my journey. I wish you luck on yours.

You know I think that with careful planning you can eat the things you like and still stay within your range. That is why the food log is such a great help to me. I just figure out how many calories I can have and always leave room for the treats I like so I don't feel deprived. Hope this helps and happy painting.

Thanks Cathy. I think food logs are great, but I'm Central American and a lot of the foods that I eat aren't in any calorie counting tool. I've tried using weight watchers "build your own recipe" tool, but it was not effective. That is why I'm not doing a calorie count program. I will try to start, however. Thanks.
