I'm starting an exercise program tomorrow. I wish I could say I was one of those people who love it. I'm not though and I'm feeling grumpy about it already. lol

I took some classes when I started exercising - those can be fun. I work out with a buddy, which is much less boring than working out alone.

I walk, do treadmill and use light weights. I can’t afford to develop an exercise phobia. You don’t have to do exercises you dread:-)

I heard that! I have been walking outside instead of doing the treadmill and really have to get back to the treadmill. May I grump along with you?

Y’all. LIFT HEAVY WEIGHTS! It will change your body composition quicker than cardio. Get a trainer, let them show you the way, and get on the path to a stronger, leaner bod.

One thing that has helped my wife and I is taking long walks. We find this gives us time to discuss our day and other things on our minds. The walks started small but now we can do 10k steps on the weekends. This is exercise, but its not one of those 'drag yourself to the gym' sort of things. We go for the conversation and the exercise is just an added benefit :)
