Day 167- Have I said how much I hate running! So today was my run day and I have moved outdoors on the road. I woke up and just did not want to run, I knew it was going to be one of the hottest days of the year and the longer I put it off the hotter it would be. I also knew that if I did not run I would feel guilty all day until I ran tomorrow. So at about 8am, I put on my shorts, shirt, and sneaks and ran. It was about 80 when I started and the sun was blazing! (I woke up at 6:30, so that is how long it took me to convince myself to do it.) I just knew I had to get it over and I would feel good all day  and now after a nice relaxing shower, morning and chores I feel great, but sore.

I ran slower than normal, but I ran. I have been trying different music apps on my phone and think I am going to use Spotify. I like how I can build a playlist and see others playlists and use just about any song in the world. I just have to find the mix that works best for me. The playlist I used today was obviously put together by a female runner, every other song was good, LOL.

The journey has been slow this week, I have been able to control what I eat, but not seeing any signs of having a loss for the week. I can’t wait to leave for my business trip as I know I will drop some lbs if I control what I eat. I will be on my feet a lot over the next 2 weeks and burning. This will be my first tradeshow where I will be 40lbs lighter, I wonder if my feet will be happier? Plus my feet are broken in from the running. I am concerned if I will have to time for the running while I am out of town, I bet there will be a lot of treadmill time…….

Good for you getting out even when you didnt want to. I will have to check out the app. Sounds interesting. I dont know if the heat has anything to do with not having any loss but I would like to think so considering I didnt have one as well. Maybe our bodies are working so hard to keep cool they arent worried about losing wt. Just a silly theory. Keep on keep on treading lol. Have a safe trip.

Ii'll bet you'll be surprised at the trade sow difference with your weight loss. But I'm sure you're right about treadmill running while youre away. Great job on the exercise.

It's hard to get up and get the workout in, but you said it...you feel better once you do and no guilt trip! I love Spotify. My neighbor is a runner and I introduced her to Puscifer. I don't know what you like, but she said it's great running music. As for on the road, I bet any running (even a treadmill) will be a great escape from a long at the tradeshow. Great job on getting your run in!
