adefwebserver's Journal, 26 April 2018

Nice, just hit 200. This was actually my goal weight for 8 years because I thought it would be a miracle if I ever hit it :) The picture I posted yesterday clearly shows I have another 30 pounds to lose. Now that I have found fasting, I think I can actually do it.

Energy and metabolism are through the roof. I only walked 10k steps yesterday and barely slept last night. I even listened to a sleep meditation to help me sleep. Hard to sleep when you have to get up every two hours to go to the bathroom. There is a negative to drinking so much water... :)

** 6:21am Update ** My goal is to only drink water today. I actually drank the water in the picture for breakfast. No coffee. I actually feel great and plan to do some weightlifting before going into work.

** 12:52pm Update ** I have only had 3 pt. of water so far today. So, umm it turns out you wont starve as long as you have water and fat on your body. Who knew? I just completed a 5k walk (if you're not eating at lunch may as well walk). Ran into a slight problem, if I drink enough water to not get dehydrated I will have to go to the bathroom halfway through a long walk (sigh).
200.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 36.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

I can relate to that, I have been two weeks trying not to drink water at night- midnight because I want to sleep better , I just love to drink water.

@XeroD3 - 11 days is my goal too! This is only day 4 for me. Thanks for confirming that this feeling in energy was not just in my head :)

If you want to sleep, cut of fluids 2 hours before your bedtime. You are doing great!

Good for you!! I would like to get to the point where I could skip the coffee and just do water on my fasting days! Patience, I guess. Love the Fiji water, too! I grew up in the country and our neighbors had an artesian well--best water ever!! Regarding sleep, I agree that less liquid just before bedtime is a good plan. I also take 800 mg of Magnesium Glycinate at bedtime and it works wonders both for falling asleep and for getting back to sleep if I am awake during the night. I get along fine with the Magnesium Glycinate, but I have heard that people with constipation issues like Magnesium Citrate better. Here's wishing you the best on the next 30 lbs!
