So I haphazardly started eating keto eleven days ago. Educated myself with several YouTube videos and a cook book as I went along. Eventually I got to where I eat less than 2000 calories a day. Got the formula for 70% fat 25% protein 5% carbs... just learning as I go... I’ve lost about 10 lbs in 11 days. Going to take my calorie count down because I’m simply not very hungry. I’ve learned that it’s all about hormonal balance... carbs and sugar trigger insulin release in the blood which makes you fat and tired... I feel great... have tons of energy... naturally eat less... and don’t need a lot of sleep. I wake up at 4-5 am before my alarm most days. Just joined the gym starting a workout routine tomorrow... we’ll see how this works with keto eating...
