Fritzy 22's Journal, 23 April 2018

Follow-up from my earlier journal entry: Fasted until 3pm to make it 24 hours, then decided not to eat but had a diet pepsi, about 16 oz and a couple glasses of water and a cup of hot chocolate. So not really fasting til morning, just drinking liquids. Looking forward to making a version of Draglist's Nordic nut and seed bread using ingredients I have in the house and a much smaller amount. I think his recipe says it makes 16 servings. I'll try to make 4 servings. We'll see how it turns out tomorrow morning. I'll use 1 cup walnuts and 1/4 cup almonds (that's all I have in the house). I put them in the mini chopper and they are ground up fine. Then I'll use 2 tablespoons olive oil, 1 full egg and 1 egg white (no yolk). Thinking about adding 1 or 2 tablespoons peanut butter.

Patty - I've got the nut bread/loaf in the oven now. Hope it turns out good! Really wanted to add some brown sugar but that would have defeated the purpose.
