Feeling frustrated today as I’ve had no weight loss since starting back up a week ago, I’ve decided to put it all out there with images. I want to see if my body changes even if weight is not coming off. So drum roll please.......here they are! I carry most of my weight in my gut so wearing revealing clothes like I have on in these pictures is out for me. Also, I’ve had a few friends tell me I’m not fat. It’s very frustrating to hear that because I know I’m over weight and have always struggled with weight since childhood. No, I may not have to lose 100lbs, but that doesn’t mean I’m not struggling with my weight. 😢😢😢

You’re NOT fat! I think you’re too critical of yourself. The scale will move downward again eventually. Just stay the course!

I understand how you're feeling... psychologically, I'm still that guy I was this past June... still takes time to lose that mindset I guess.

We can be our own worst critics! You are beautiful but I understand completely wanting to lose the extra padding. Be patient...it will go if you don’t give up!

A measuring tape could help too. Hang in there.

Great post!! You will definitely start to see changes the more you work towards your goal. Just remember, the scale is a liar, its measurements and how you feel that REALLY show your progress. Keep your chin up, and when someone tells you that you dont have anything to lose, let them know that you are doing it for you. They have good intentions, because you are slim, but at the same time, only you know how comfortable you feel in your own body.

Tina, that you want to get healthier is proof that you will succeed. I am built similar to you and my answer was to get bigger prettier clothes! Then I decided to start taking care of myself, finally! I don't know your WOE, but I said bye-bye to middle area (and found my waist again) by cutting out refined carbs. I was on keto and a lot, I mean a lot, of those ugly results of not eating healthy disappeared. I'm not longer on keto, per say, but I do try to stay away from the white stuff (sugar & white flour). Maybe try to eliminate certain types of foods and see if it makes a difference. We all have to do this our own way and figure out what works for us individually. You can do this, just be kind to yourself along the way. And you are already beautiful, you just want to be even more so. :)

Thanks everyone for the support. I hope in six months I post better, thinner ( or at least healthier) photos. In the meantime, it’s like AAA, one step at a time. Have a great day! 😘

Your goals are valid for you - keep at it! Also weight carried in the abdomen is the worst for your heart and for type 2 diabetes risk.

You may need to re-evaluate the foods you are eating. Maybe even try I different style of diet to shake things up. Just don’t give up!! You can do it!
