Long day, watching friends two little kids. We ran errands, lunch at Denny’s. I wanted to give myself permission to eat nachos or fries. I had the cheeseburger, no bun, with salad. The kids had rubbish, mac n cheese 🧀 and one had a burger and one had chicken nuggets with grapes and goldfish 🐠 crackers. The kids menu was dismal, come on. Two hours later, they were hungry (malnourished) and I made them veg/berry smoothies. I don’t think they knew there was green powder in them, in almond milk. I used a little real cane sugar as I am reluctantly becoming convinced artificial sweeteners are worse. I’m not there completely, but thinking 🤔 and cutting them out. No more beloved diet Dr Pepper. Waaaaah. 😭

I don't know if it is my cutting down on sweet things all together, but I recently bought a cold-brew pitcher and made decaf coffee cold brew. I don't normally like black coffee, but what comes out of this particular brew pitcher is incredible. I started having a big serving of cold black coffee every night instead of diet coke - right color, and delicious! So you might find something else to take the place of the Doc.

Thx Abba, I try cold coffee every so often. I drip brew and let cool, then blend powdered bone broth in with little Skinny Syrup. It’s like a cold latte without carbs. I’m not grown up enough to tackle cold black coffee. 🙀
