How much water are you drinking all day? It could be you are dehydrated...

The only way to really break that habit is be mindful of what you are doing. What are the conditions during that time that lead you to go for carbs? Bottom line is you have to catch yourself doing and ask the question 'does this get me closer to my goal?' keep asking that question over and over again until making another choice becomes second nature... then keep asking it. Keep other choices besides carbs around, perhaps something protein heavy, or a lower carb healthy veggie perhaps.

Decide in the morning what snack you are going to have at that time and plan your day around that. I plan some days around my 2pm chocolate granola bar

How fortunate you are, you are in control of what you do, and set yourself a rule, as you would not listen to anyone else's rule. My rule is supper is done - it's water the rest of the way. Hubby snacks on everything and its all mind over matter, if I don't mind, it doesn't really matter, as I have to do this for me, just as you have to do this for you. If you really want something, save your greens for that period of time, or plan out to have a keto coffee, if you are on Keto. the good news is you will make it, you know it and I know it.

Difficult to make good suggestions, when we don't know your WOE. I suggest a cup of hot bouillon or bone broth. It provides salt, which LC people need, and is filling.
