Condition update. I had a 6:30 PM meeting yesterday that lasted an hour, barely made it through it, and the 5 minute drive home felt like a 18 hour drive. This morning I have another meeting 48 minutes away; let's see how this goes. I'm totally sidelined and trying to keep this from slinking into depression. Going from a 300 lb dead lift to barely lifting 5 lbs takes a toll on those who enjoys moving plates. Nevertheless, I am "only" doing what my PT suggest to do, and at this stage it's only mild stretches. God bless each of you on your journey, and keep your workout area free from clutter.

Prayers for a speedy recovery. Try not to eat your feelings. Coffee and tea water. If they did an I’ve that might be part of the “weight” gain, so try not to stress it. If you can’t work out try eating at Maintainance amount so as not to gain while being sidelined. We all get sidelined sometimes, but thenwe get back in the game. It will all be okay. You got this.

Thank you for the reminder. It is so easy to fall and hurt ourselves even without cluttering up our own spaces.

Thanks for the king sentiments, and Mylahaxandermom, you are so right. It is is really tempting to eat my feelings. Since I can gain no reward for my physical effort it's easy to say "what the hay, at least eating this will make me feel good." However in the long run I know this will make me feel worse. Thanks for the wake up. I have actually started sliding in that direction and need to stop today. Nevertheless, it sure is hard barely existing physically, and not even knowing what tomorrow holds. I will say in my case the proverb of "pride goes before the fall" is likely true in my case. I was so proud of where I came from and where I was. I do hope that I can recover 100%. so I can get back at it.
