Headache went away yesterday so that I had a productive day at work. Then last night went shopping for the final items in my "cleanse" prep and still forgot to get lemons! Wonder what Freud would say about that! I am hanging out at home today, taking a mental health day. Today's breakfast and lunch, I broke out the blender and made the smoothie and then made avocado garlic dressing with the allowed ingredients. Chili and salad for lunch with a chickpea crepe/pancake thing I made. Note to self: very carefully clean the blender between the banana smoothie and the avocado garlic dressing! Test tonight: going out to dinner with friends. We are going to the food court at the mall so I have to keep my plan in mind and get a nice big salad. Have a good day!

Your got a strong start! LOL and at least you didn’t pull my trick and buy the lemon and leave it in your shopping bag only to find it 3 weeks later when you used that bag at the next big shopping trip. 😣I kept wondering where that lemon was! LOL 🤦🏻♀️

What do you think a cleanse will accomplish? I've heard of it but unfamiliar with the reason

@lilabit my cousin, one of my friends, and I are doing the "cleanse" together. For me it is a bit of mindfulness of how often I reach for a piece of bread, candy, cake, or french fry. Supposedly the 10-day detox will, you know, supposedly clean out toxins, but really it's a way to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables, good fats, and measured amounts of proteins with the recommended amount of fiber each day.
