a tad over 14 miles biking with wife---she is still not ready--stopped multiple times--she was dizzy and weak--no more longer rides for her until she is more fit

Greetings! I had the same experience as your spouse a couple times when biking - it was all about the water! I just needed to carry and drink more water throughout the ride to avoid the "dizzy and weak" feelings. Also, eating a protein/carb snack before riding helps.

thanks for the tip--a large part of her issues may come from not exercising enough and hard enough to aid in the transition from glycogen to ketone energy--i encourage her to increase her intensity to obtain more complete transition--
