Confession is good for the soul. I emptied the hidden bag of candy wrappers from under my seat in my car. I resolve to stay away from the bulk candy aisle at the store. I knew I was headed for trouble when my daughter found some hidden candy and confronted me a couple of weeks ago, Of course, I denied it. Being on low carb when you start eating carbs and taffy candy is very high carb, it won't show up as pounds at first but you will start to retain fluid and gain in inches and the pounds will start to go up. The truly scary part is the drug like effect it had on me, seriously craving it to the point of going out for the purpose of getting it. Fifteen months after reaching goal is not a good time to start messing up. Self sabotage is a poor reaction to frustration and stress. It during these times when staying healthy and happy is really important. I was increasingly more unsettled and frustrated because I knew I was messing up and I already have so much on my plate.

Houseful of people coming in a few days and I'm not ready. Trying hard to delegate and it's getting me nowhere. I strained my neck and shoulder yesterday and my knee is hurting but I have to get it done.

Tuesday my knee injection should arrive at the doctors office. I finally got approval for the shot from the insurance company. Of course, my doctor wanted to give me a different shot but the insurance company that didn't go to medical school has approved a shot that is not as expensive. The doctors office said they've had pretty good results with it. I'm backed into a corner and I'll have to take it. I'm happy knowing that after 230 million dollars on negative ads against health care reform that the insurance companies didn't win with the Supreme court ruling. The shot they didn't approve said I could expect to be pain free for about 26 weeks. I'd love not to have to keep going back every three months, that would be a 50 percent savings of my time and suffering.
