Good Day Folks! 214.6 after a cheat day.

I cheated nice yesterday too, big breakfast. Home made country fried steak out of sirloin steaks, mashed taters. Mmmmm. Mixed in with some store bought cake throughout the day, and a piece of chocolate or two. I will try and log it. Who knows..

I kind of detach from fatsecret on my cheat days for the most part, and that is OK. Sometimes I do, sometimes I dont, but I like it like that. It is also when we go shopping, I am not at work in front of a PC, etc, etc.

I started yesterday with a 33.8 mile, 3 hour bike ride too, so I really didnt give a f**k about what I ate. my HRM said I burned 2500 calories on the bike ride, too. The HRM is probably the most accurate method, Strava says one thing, Fatsecret another, but we all know that all too well. It was 110 degrees when I got back. Suffice to say I overdid it a bit.

Let me tell you, a piece of cake after riding that far, is divine! Almost better than sex.

Today, I am having sensible food. Probably grill some chicken up.

Just rode 15 miles in a "take a walk" pace. I went slow. I mainly did it so I could pass 300 miles for the month. I have been reading about cycling (bike) and training. Turns out when your riding like me you need to take weeks off every 2-3 weeks. So, 3 weeks on, 1 week off. I never knew that. I could tell a few weeks ago when I was taking fewer days off it seemed everyday got harder. And even now, some times after a day or two off, my legs aint quite right. So, I will give that a shot. Today is my last bike ride until next Friday. /Sadface!

Anyway, besides bike land, life is pretty good. Kids are over their job thing. We all spent quality time together yesterday like "old school" and it was nice.
