Peasy3's Journal, 17 April 2018

We did it. It was her first half marathon. She cried when she finished, it was so sweet. We had a lot of fun with it. I had pasta the night before and oatmeal before the run. It felt strange eating that many carbs. I woke up 2 lbs heavier the next day, but 2 lbs lighter today. It's crazy how your body hangs on to weight/fluids after a long run. Feeling great today though! Go Sharks! Excited about the game. Fortunately, my favorite thing to eat before the game are a nearby restaurant's shrimp and wings = low carb. I will have to skip the gyro afterwards though, boo. Hubby and I couldn't do our hike yesterday because it rained and thundered. We are going to reschedule for this weekend and hope to see sunny skies. Hope you all are having a wonderful week.
