I've never actually written a journal entry before, although I've been on this site for awhile now. I just wanted to share a NSV with you! I've been wanting to make keto cookie dough to comfort eat (my kitty died this week), and I did this morning. But I planned ahead and quartered the recipe so that I didn't overeat it and force myself into a fast. I actually get to eat for the rest of the day! As someone who struggles with portion control, I feel great about this - even though I had cookie dough for breakfast. Have a great day, everyone!

sorry about your kitty - I did the same last week with a keto key lime mousse. totally got me through a few rough days without doing any damage ! It's hard not to comfort eat, like REALLY hard - be proud if yourself for making good decisions !*

Portion control. Have you tried kind bars? They run from 100 to 230 cals. High in fat and protein. The kind minis are about 80 to 100 cals. They do have nuts tho, so not sure you can use that since I don't do keto. They tend to be mostly almonds and sometimes peanuts, pecans, cashews, pistachio, etc.

Thanks jipper, for your sweet suggestion! I can have almonds and other nuts on my WOE! It doesn't look like the Kind bars would work for me, though, because of the carb counts. I appreciate you!

So sorry about your kitty. It is a terrible loss. Impressed you planned out for your WOE. I do that for the holidays, birthdays, and other family events. It is a lot easier since I've been doing low carb. You are doing great!
