kkc9876's Journal, 10 April 2018

I have taken a short break from my rigid routine and have been allowing myself to have some things that I normally would not. I needed a break and give my body a little time to adjust to the new weight. Its good to do this in order to sustain the fight. I have kept a steady 210 for the last few weeks. I am gearing up my will power to tackle the next set of 10 pounds. Historically, over the last 15 years or so, 210 has been a hard barrier weight for me to break past. I will get past it this year because I have a renewed spirit and will to accomplish my goals. I know my body well.
I am activated, motivated and disciplined.

I know everyone needs a treat now and again. I don't eat french fries anymore...EXCEPT when we eat out. I steal 2 fries from the hubbies plate and savor them. It satisfies my cravings.

Thank you for your comments! I need to adopt a similar attitude. 210 is tough for me to break as well!

Sounds like you have the right idea to me. Good luck with it. Keep believing in yourself and don't let your past define you. You are doing great!

You are doing wonderful! That is very smart to take a bit of a break from hard dieting. When you reach your goal you will already know your limits - how much is too much.
