T-Moe's Journal, 09 April 2018

Today is my day of reckoning. Stepped on the scale this morning to see what the damage is after abandoning my low-carb WOE while my family and I took a week-long road-trip holiday after Easter.

I promised myself that after this past week of indulgence I would get right back on the Keto horse and I will, starting today. Having eaten high-carb, high-sugar these past many days, I've noticed how utterly crappy these foods make me feel. It's astonishing how quickly the pounds came back, as well!

So, anyway...it is what it is. I knew the scale would be high, but I'm not going to beat myself up over it. Good-bye Easter candy; good-bye ramen noodles; good-bye bread. Hello bacon, eggs and rib-eyes--mama's back!
165.8 lb Lost so far: 5.2 lb.    Still to go: 30.8 lb.    Diet followed poorly.
gaining 3.4 lb a week

I’ve been on and off too. The difference in how the carbs and sugar make you feel is startling. I have more energy and feel ‘clearer’ when I EAT CLEAN.
