I completed day 3 of 30 day shred yesterday. I'm going to wait until I get home from work today to do it again so I can give my poor aching abs and legs a little break. I wanted to give up considering doing 30 day shred hasn't helped me lose any weight so far, nothing has helped. Well, my wonderful husband would not let me give up. He told me to do it anyway even if I felt it wasn't working because eventually it would catch up with me and I would lose weight.

I've also gotten into the habit of weighing myself every day since I'm at a plateau to see if I've lost any weight. That was not helping my situation any. I'm not weighing myself until Saturday. Saturday will be weigh-in day.

About 30 day shred. I thought I wouldn't be able to do it. From the reviews I've read everyone suggested that someone overweight wouldn't be able to handle the moves. I can tell you I'm currently (still) at 234 pounds I did it just fine. I had to do modified moves of some of the modified moves to make sure I didn't hurt myself like the push-ups. I couldn't even do the pushups on my knees. My arms aren't strong enough yet. I did it on my knees like you would be on all fours instead of on my knees push-up style, if that makes sense. I also had to do a modified jumping jack and jump rope. I had to hold my boobs down instead of doing the arm moves because they were bouncing too much :)

I really like 30 day shred. It's hard but it's not too hard. It pushes me but in a good way. I need to take my measurements. I keep forgetting. I'll do it tonight. After the 30 days I'll see where I'm at.

After I get done with 30 day shred I'll see where I'm at weight-wise. By that point I think I'll be ready to start running. Even though it's only been 3 days I can tell I'm getting stronger. The first day after completing 30 day shred my legs felt like jelly, I could barely walk. It was hard to complete some of the moves. Yesterday when I did it, it wasn't so bad. I'm getting stronger already. So after I complete all 30 days I'm going to be stronger and I think I'll start running again.

On the no more soda journey I've fallen off the wagon. The one day I felt really horrible made me worried about cutting down. I think I need to cut down slower. I was trying to go to fast I think. I'll start again but go slower this time.

Enough for now. I had so much to think about this weekend... I'll journal more later maybe...
