It was a decent day today. Did alright with food. May phase out J.Craig nutrition bars to have two servings of milk.
Visited Mom and sister and had a great afternoon chatting and playing Spanish cards. Then we had an impromptu dinner before evening mass. Love connecting with women for a good gab session - does wonders for the estrogen levels.;-)

Glad you had a good visit with your family. Family is just so important. Sounds like you had a good food weekend too. I think planning food is the hardest part. It's so hard sometimes to keep it fresh and exciting. I just love food so much and I love the taste and texture so I have to start thinking of it as fuel...so hard to do Maria.

Cathy: How true! It's nice to make favorite dishes for special occasions and to indulge those we love, particularly sons and men as they really do get excited about home cooking lol. Thinking about your infamous marinara sauce. ;-) Glen: What a lovely evening it must have been!! Warmed by the images. And will be a well-planned wedding no doubt.;-) They must appreciate the support you provide them so much - father/daughter connections are so vast and profound. Glad they have you in their corner.:)
