Still not getting this dieting stuff. Joined another challenge to help kick the Dew habit (again). So angry with myself that I started drinking it again.
I've been doing really good with recording what I eat on another site - my snacking is out of control! It's like WOW!! There were two days in two weeks time that my snack calories were 3/4 of my alloted calories! Unbelievable. The calories add up sooo fast! Some day I'll take teh time to transfer the information onto this site as well.
I still like how the Mayo Clinic Diet has me changing my habits. I just need to do 1 or 2 at a time. Such as:
Break this habit/ Add this habit a). Lose the Dew (sugar) / Drink more water b). Lose the sugary snacks / eat more fruit/veggies. c). Don't skip meals / eat breakfast (even it's a quick bowl of cereal)
I think that's where I'll start. Maybe the rest will just fall into place ;)
Sunday is a good day to start a new plan. I'll pray for some strength to hold my ground when I go to church.
Feels good to be able to journal this (the other site doesn't have a journal area, but it's app bar code scanner works better).
