I'm on my way to get a bike...walking, jogging and incline training is great, but I want to change tings up and not do the same old, same old day in and day out...that's a sure fire way for me to get bored and quit. I have a pool in my backyard, but I don't want to get in a bathing suit...even though it is just me...until I have dropped a few more pounds (like 10)! I can't help it, I'm weird that way...besides swimming is the perfect workout when July and 100+ temps roll around!

So, I'm not going to spend a lot on this bike, because I need to get into bike riding again, and I don't need an expensive bike to ride around the neighborhood. Growing up, we rode our bikes everywhere...our parents didn't take us to school, or to the local pool...we rode our bikes or walked there. Same if we wanted to go to a friend's house. Maybe that is why kids today are higher in obesity than we were in the 70's. We ate out...not everyday...but McDonald's was a bike ride away, and my aunt cooked every night southern style...and still we were healthy...

So old times aside...this is my attempt to reclaim a piece of my youth and get healthier!!!
