It's Monday! Eeewwwhh!! Lol
Let's see what did I get accomplished yesterday... Hhmm well not as much as I had planned. It's so funny that I plan to do one thing and another crops up.
Anyways I did get some housework done, and I almost finished my book. - met my mom and brother for lunch, they ate and I drank water. It was Swiss chalet and that place in my opinion is nasty. Then this is funny.. A long time good friend invited me over for a visit how could I say no? So caught the bus (means walking) and to his place I went. He's a real work out finatic so he got me to do some exercises there. Not to mention he boosted my ego pretty good. The unfortunate part was I did not leave his place early enough to make it to the grocery store! So apparently that will be added to my list today. Like my bud weiner4 says that it is okay to roll a couple things over so that is what I am going to do. And pphhtt says that breaking this down and making a list let's me focus on the things I have accomplished and not dwell on the things I haven't. So all is pretty good at the moment. Today however the main task is to make it through work without the feeling of blowing a gasket! Lol
Okay task list: - work, - grocery shopping - housework - finish book - in bed at a decent time.
Have a great day to all my wonderful and supportive buds!

Seeing old friends is a great thing. Especially if they are of the same mindset regarding a healthy life. A good trade for the regular grocery shopping trip, I say! Today's list is totally doable and with so few things on it...I think you will feel like a weight has been lifted of your shoulders once you are done with it and be able to enjoy the day for yourself. Short lists are a wonderful thing and we all need them from time to time. And if something should happen to not get done...oh well. Shit happens and there's always tomorrow. Just like with food, exercise and life...keep trying and never quit! :-)

ppphhhttt: this old friend is especially good to hang out with. He is full of postive energy and has an amazing body! lol! as for my lovely list.. each item on there has several small items attached. but if I included them all it would make for a pretty boring read... lol.. have a good day :)

Usually just drinking water in a restaurant while another eats a meal is TOUGH for me to do! I feel too deprived -- then eat too much later since I did not "get to have anything." HOWEVER - if the place is "nasty" like the place you guys visited then just having water is easy. The older I get - the more "grossed out" I am by certain places. The old fashioned bowling alley bar we went to yesterday was SO COOL though! Lots of local sports legends' pictures & memorablia lined the walls! Let's make today & this week a "get a lot of things done" time! Okay?

Thanks so much for the advice over on my journal regarding the manner in which we notice the yucky flavor in unhealthy foods! That phenomenon has actually happened to me in the past. For example -drinking a regular Coke has seemed like drinking syrup. Thanks again!
