Happy*Snappy's Journal, 25 March 2018

Well the last two days my BS have been under 90 ALL day!! Even after eating!!! We ate dinner really late tonight so that may not hold but I feel good about getting it under better control. The Keto WOE is rocking the labs!!

My honey bought me my very first leather motorcycle jacket!! Fits beautifully too!! I'm getting super excited about the upcoming riding season. My bike was my present to myself when I hit the 50# lost mark and it is gorgeous.

At 100# I'm looking forward to a week long vacay - just the honey and I - 30# to go!!!
Maybe a motorcycle adventure.....or maybe international travel..... that would be so cool.

Moving forward - ever forward!

Wonderful news! Mine has been steady at just over 100. I'd like to see it go down, but suspect that my liver is still holding onto fat stores. Oh, I don't know! I'm just guessing! Swimming starts next week, so I plan to hit the pool daily. Maybe that will affect ye ol' bg.

Well I got distracted on Sat night and didn't eat until really late so my BS was 104 when I woke up but ..... Under 93 for the rest of the day. It's so easy to get off track. I KNOW eating late does that to me so I have to pay closer attention. I've never been a morning person which could have contributed (a little) to my life long weight issues. I've gotten a lot better at adjusting what I'm eating based on the time and what it will do to my blood sugar. Eggs are a fabulous stabilizer. This journey is teaching me a lot about how my body works and what I need to do to optimize it's efficiency....... And also ways to 'cheat' without causing chaos!! Although that comes back to bite me in the keister so isn't worth it.

Thank you Wendy and everyone else. It's helpful to know I'm not in this by myself! @moogie - my goal is between 70-85 with a Max limit of 100. Sounds kinda lofty but I'm coming from an average of 300-350 (per my A1C) ..... It took 3 months to get that down to an average of 150 (per A1C) so it doesn't seem so unattainable now. I have a pool pass that I bought a couple of months ago but haven't had the nerve to use yet. At least now I'll be able to use the swim pants and shirt that I got almost a year ago. They fit now too!
