Woke at 216.0, up 4.0 after eating too many carbs and a lot of food late yesterday. Targeting 1887 calories today and will get back to keto. UPDATE: Ate modestly at lunch but came home at 218.4. Despite doing massive veggies at lunch and dinner every day, I'm still experiencing severe constipation. So essentially lots going in but nothing coming out. Tonight it's time to call in the tried and true -- a bottle of Spanish Tempranillo! Take that, body! Waking weigh-in is today's low.

I am following you because we are at the same weight and I have similar results. So far this week I am down to 210, but only because I spent the last 7 days eating <50 carbs and <1000 calories a day.

It's such a love/hate relationship with carbs.

I find taking a magnesium 400 mg pill every night has allowed me the morning thunder daily, no matter how thick the protein was that day. I learned that in 1995 on Mayo Clinic protein diet. Water and salt balanced helps. You’ve done well and will inspire a lot of newbies and oldens like me, get back our lives.

magnesium is good for lots of things. I take it as a migraine preventative.

I just take one 400mg at night but I drink a lot of water and 2:1 fat to protein ratio. I have 1-2cups of raw cabbage every few days. I’m ordering some nighttime chamomile tea 🍵 that is supposed to fill your gut with antioxidants and suppress estrogen levels. Dr. David Jockers and his pals on YouTube, Dr. Berg, Dr. Jason Yung “Obesity Code” and Drs. Eades “Protein Power” tell you all the helpful and must haves on LCHF and fasting diets.
