Marvelous Monday
Good Morning everyone...Today its a 16 hr day at work for me and I'm prepped for the day and ready for it too.
I was going to incorporate Zumba in my early morning schedule by rising at 3am instead of 330a ...well... something about 3a ...I was unable to pull my sleepy self up...that being said..Im planning on doing my zumba when I return home around 1130p
I know that sounds crazy to you...but I need routine and consistency to make it a habit...so that's the plan for me later...I'm usually still going anyway until I calm down....
I have A.D.D. and I'm not a fan of medication especially since its a mild case.. my middle granddaughter has to take meds for it but she does very well with them... so I just wind down instead of taking a pill....many have commented on the amount of energy I have here..
just an fyi to clear things up..its not drug induced...I hate even the idea of taking ibuprofen pills they mess with tummy...so at times I suffer slightly with a headache.
So that being said I'm not a druggie ...
In nursing that would be especially hard to pull off for anyone ..they do random drug testing here and if your called and you don't a prescription for whats in your system...your out...no questions ask...
Just thought Id clear that up....I'm 100% a crazy ball of energy and its just what I have to deal with.
I'm planning on drinking tons of water today to flush my system just because its good for me...
I hope that you all begin today with the mindset that this is a wonderful and a new day in my life... a day that I should really take the time to enjoy...
many hate Mondays...I heard comments already here this morning as I walked into work lol..
turn those thoughts around.. draw a positive energy towards you ... find happiness in your day if Mondays do bother you...
its your day...its your life in this day...truly appreciate it... and enjoy the day you are blessed with.

Happy Monday to you, Maxie4! You makes me laugh. Yep, your attitude definitely dictates much of how your day goes. I am glad you are sane enough to realize 3 AM is not a good idea and winding down with exercise makes more sense. Have a great day!

Well thank you sweetie...yeah a little to crazy even for me ha ha... 3a yes its about a litlte over a lb a week... I'm a monthly weigh girl...I'm feeling decent in my clothes again...and the tire tracks around my middle in my nursing scrubs are no more but my tie scrubs are aggravating at times I have to roll and tie them constantly loll thank you Ging for you support it means so much to me;)

the ceps...your welcome and yep up at 330 is one thing but that pertain to my job...well no... that's incorrect I'm usually up then...they say that the crazy don't sleep ha ha thank you sweetie for your support and your amazing energy is rocking it here on FS;)

i i remember the doubles i would pull in the hospital.. always had my lunch nd dinner all pre-packed. i would keep my self in shape by heling the aides. transfers, pushing pulling beds.. what ever entailed my body to work.. i was in the best shape.. incorporate exercise throughout ur shift. i also exercise when i get home in the evening. as long as u keep moving ur burning.. 😁

Those 16hr days are a killer!! You are amazing!!! Just by what I have learned of you here, I bet you are a wonderfully kind and fantastic nurse!! Your patients are lucky to have you, even on crazy A.D.D days!! I love your energy and your spirit. You are a good soul and we are all luckier to have you!! ((hugs)) for your long day!!
