Okay fat secret experts... is there a way to add your personal recipes to the food diary? Because I would like to make some that wouldn't be single serving and I am not sure how to break them down into smaller portions.

That's a good question. When I add a custom recipe I put one serving in the ingredients list then just keep track of how many servings I've cooked in the whole dish & how many times I've logged it. Does that make sense?

This is cumbersome but it works. Pick a future day, enter all the ingredients, calculate the values for one serving. Write those down. Then, Do a search for a food, at the bottom of the results there will be a place to add your own entry. Give it a name, enter the food values you wrote down, then choose a category (or is it keyword?) and save. Then you want to delete your entries from the future day. (I said it's cumbersome) Or, you can go to sparkpeople and use their recipe calculator to get the food values.

I will have to try and figure that out.. I have been wanting Irish candy.. I know this would be easy to make into a keto "fat bomb" since it's literally cream cheese, butter, shredded coconut (found some unsweetened- 0 net carbs), powdered sugar (going to switch in some erythritol), and cinnamon.

Good question. Might be something to take to FB admin. Does anyone know how to communicate with them? Do you get responses? I love the community here but I think there are better food tracking sites.

I don't need others to see them just me myself and I.

it is possible i use it all the time. none of mine are shared unless i come up with GENIUS. its complicated and a little slow on my phone but well worth the effort of keeping me on track. really helps in converting my comfort food into lchf food.
