2 steps forward and 1 step back. I did okay yesterday until later in the afternoon, the time I don't usually eat. I went to the grocery store yesterday and forgot to buy the low fat mozzarella cheese which has been a nice snack, with little cholesterol and quite a few protein grams. But I bought pistachios. Just a small bag, they were on sale. I measured out a half cup and had them around noon. Then for some reason I decided to eat the rest of them. I did log them and was still within my allowed calories. THEN if that wasn't bad enough, early evening I saw one remaining sesame bagel on the kitchen counter that I hadn't frozen and I ate the whole thing, without toasting it or putting anything on it. I should know better and keep things out of sight! Today will be better. I checked and at yesterday's weight I'm down just 0.2 pound for the month. Not weighing myself today. I toasted 1/4 bagel for breakfast today and ate it dry (I like bread enough to do that sometimes!). Plan on making stir fry today but will eat it later in the day so hopefully I won't want anything else. Luckily, there isn't much left to tempt me, other than lots and lots of frozen bagels cut into quarters.
