I've been too overwhelmed to track everything and participate here for over a week. I'm really really struggling with tracking and setting goals without becoming obsessive and to the point that I will deprive myself food until I pass out because I have to be 100% perfect. Anybody else have similar struggles? Thoughts?

If you’re obsessing you’re going to just keep stressing yourself out which won’t help at all in any aspect. Don’t be so restrictive, just balance things out so you can enjoy eating and still hit your weekly goals

I’m the exact same.. I don’t eat for days and when I do it isn’t very much. I’ve lost 10 pounds in 6 days.. I’m drinking tons of water though it helps with the dizzy and the light head feeling. Make sure you stay hydrated..

10lbs in 6 days is nuts. 100% Guaranteed that’s not all body fat. Dizziness and feeling like crap is a terrible route to diet. The most fat you can lose is 1% times your body weight PER WEEK without losing muscle. Everything else lost is muscle, poop, water weight, glycogen depletion. Practically Starving yourself to your goal is a bad idea and won’t speed anything up

Unless you’re 100+Lbs overweight and most of that is body fat, the lower and lower it goes, the harder it’ll become to do things that way

No I’m not 100 pounds over weight. I’m 5ft 6 and 147 and want to be 125. I lose weight very quickly if I do not eat or eat very little. I lost 30 pounds in 2 months and can lose weight very quickly. I drink tons of water and will eat if I feel light headed. I use to be anorexic so I know all about losing weight and what happens to the body.

I actually am losing body fat I can see it in my upper body more muscle is showing and more bones. I also can see it in my hips and waist. Everyone is different. I’m also going through something right now that is not giving me an apppetite.

Alright then that simplfies things even more. If you care about not losing muscle you’ll have to make sure you have a decent protein intake nd do some resistance training. but the fact will Remain that to lose fat a healthy way, you can’t rush fat loss, so losing anything more than 1.5lbs a week for you, will most likely be a combination of body fat and muscle. Unless, muscle loss isn’t a big deal, then do as large of a deficit as you wish

Passing out? Not good! You don’t wanna die on this. Just obsess over doing it the right way and you’ll be super successful. Get in all the proteins fats and carbs suggested and you’ll lose.

@amandakane1 Yes indeed, the leaner and leaner we get, the harder and harder our bodies fight back against us, making (realistically fast) fat loss continuously dip, in smaller amounts, due to our bodies wanting to hold onto it. So someone with 200lbs will lose more than someone with only 10

@DEADPOOL12345...Yes I do have a lot of protein. I’m Vegan so protein intake is very important for me I do a herbal protein.. When I do eat I do a herbal shake with water full of nutrients and protein. Followed by an all natural herbal tea with aloe. When I do not eat I make sure I stay hydrated. Yes dizzy feeling is not good and I do make sure I eat something or have a herbal shake when I start feeling dizzy. Yes some days I fast.. I just ended a relationship so my appetite is not so good hence the quick weight loss. Thanks for your input.. Much appreciated!

Yeah for most vegetarians protein is kind of one of those tricky areas but they do have plenty of protein related supplements which are vegan for example the brand Lenny and Larry complete cookie, is vegan and all natural and it taste really good they are usually 360 calories with 16 g of protein. Also they have vegan protein powders and many other ones that are all natural etc. I personally like to eat protein bars with various brands they taste like candy to me and fill me up and other protein cookie brands are pretty tasty as well... lol I stay fit with general magic and wizardry you know the usual 😋🧙🏻‍♂️ Well I’ll probably reach my current goal of getting lean in maybe a month and a half or so, more or less. Then after that I’m going to focus on building muscle. But at that point I will be making more fitness related posts to answer I’m sure, many peoples questions as well as providing more information relating to other fitness aspect. So good things will be coming in the future that will help everybody I hope. Stay tuned. 😉

@DEADPOOL12345. Yes most definitely protein for Vegans can be consumed via vegan protein powder which I purchase from Amazon a huge tub of it. Also if you are a smart vegan lol you do research and find out what foods have a lot of protein. Although, I may not always eat I will also grab trail mix and have a few handfuls.. Always keep a nut mixture around. Consuming protein when I do eat is my top priority. The herbal shake comes with a protein powder as well. No no Bison lol poor little babies.. I’m an ethical vegan so I love me some animals but not to eat. That’s great you have all that magical gift lol.. 😉😉Good luck with your weight loss and muscle building. I use to lift weights obsessively but now I workout when I have actually eaten. Most definitely will stay tuned to your posts..
