Good Morning FS Family, It's 46* again I'm talking Sw Florida, Venice to be precise, my coffee goes cold before l can finish it out here on the patio. hahaha Bunny and l are leaving for the Fla.Keys today for atleast 10 days or maybe longer hahaha last time we stayed on each island for a day or two working our way further south on the island chain until we hit the dead end.We took the pickup and over packed,we looked like the Beverly Hillbillies with lawn chairs, snorkels & fins, metal detectors, way to many clothes etc. This time were taking the Cadillac and going in style for the five hr.dr.south to first island that would be Key Largo, Humphrey Bogart's island so basically you have the upper, middle and lower keys with tons of islands in between and of course ending our stay in Key West and we'll take the boat ride a 68 mile, two hr.trip again to the historical pre civil war Fort Jefferson on the dry tortugas, that's an all day fun filled exploration and not to mention the best snorkeling ever.The boat supplies a box lunch and snorkeling euip. plus they have drinks and other food on the boat for a cost.The waters about 20' deep for about 1/4 mile then it drops off super dead and your warned not to swim out there cause it could attract large sharks to come up to ya..hahaha you only have to tell me once. but hell l kept my eyes opened in that crystal clear water for sharks and barracuda's any way. hahaha the coral and sea life was gorgeous.So after we hand little Arthur back to his mother..we be going and going in style this time. hahaha..Don't need no reservations,we'll pull over where we like it stay a while then move on.
So I'll be going off grid like Patty...l hope someone else can keep the funny going on, you know life is too serious to be serious all the time. Don't know when I'll be back but l truely love my FS Family all of you are very special people.
