DairyKing's Journal, 09 June 2012

Well, I'm beat. It's a little after 11:30 pm. Stood my watch in the tent and closed up shop. We had a pretty good band tonight, and a pretty big turnout for the carnival and the entertainment. I stayed until the band quit, and then took the roster back down to the Legion, and topped off the adventure with a cold draft beer. Got home a little after 10. Walked the little dog, fed the dogs again, gave one of the cats his meds, and then prepared a couple trays of chicken jerky and fired up the dehydrator. This has been a full day. I hope to get up and run in the morning, but I'm not saying what time that might be. I am considering not even turning on my alarm clock. And BTW, I did not even come close to staying within my RDI today. Too tired to worry about it; what's done is done. Hope everyone had a wonderful day. I'm afraid I'm not going to be doing too much nosing into my friends logs yet this evening. Good nite!

Ouch.. today was definitely a spike day for you.. :) You're right, it's over and you can't take it back, so no sense in dwelling! I think you should definitely stay away from the alarm clock.. just get some good sleep! Hope you can get in a run in the morning.. Good night, DK! Sweet dreams!

I empathize after going crazy on pulled pork and fresh crab today. Thankfully we get a do-over tomorrow! By the way, have you seen the ruby red grapefruit cups at Costco and regular grocery stores? More satisfying than the equivalent in juice, IMHO. I have been saving calories on juice by having a lot of berries instead. Just an idea. (-: BTW I can never turn down pineapple upside down cake!!! Glad you had a good day!

You sounded real tired in your journal Saturday....I hope you didn't put the alarm on... Look after YOURSELF DK, you are always making sure everyone else is OK.... Give yourself a little TLC too x
