Everything you do is based on the choices you make. It's not your parents, your past relationships, your job, the economy, the weather, an argument or your age that is to blame. You and only you are responsible for every decision and choice you make. Period.

-Dr Wayne Dyer

Last night was Thirsty Thursday and I sure was thirsty. I got home super late 11:45 PM and back up @ 4:20 AM. YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!

While getting ready this morning to head to work, a brief thought of what I wanted to eat when I got in the office (which probably would have been the wrong thing) quickly led me to << choose >> to go in the fridge and put a chicken leg, some meat balls, frozen stir fried veggies and 2 TBS of butter wrapped in a small piece of foil into a container to bring with me to eat for lunch, the one of possible two meals I will eat today.

I am responsible for every decision and choice I make. PERIOD.

I think when you think thoughts of food its thoughtful planning, not just passing thoughts... you think?

Prepping is very helpful tool. Yes I have finally got my plan going and I saw I new low on the scale I have not seen awhile and was very happy. The hard thing is to find a plan that works with you. And I know first hand is very hard when you are working long hours, but once you find that plan things start to click!!! :)

I try to plan out my food everyday. But when I fall short, I try not to beat myself up. I am down 13lbs since Jan 23.

You are absolutely right! We have to take responsibility for our own actions. Have a great day!

I take responsibility for my weight gain and food choices but feel I share the blame with that half bottle of red wine that set me off on the downhill slide.

That statement goes past weight/food into life in general. Stopping playing the victim and giving excuses is hard, but once you take the power for yourself things get better and easier.
